The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions on this website modern-tables.com. Use of this site indicates your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. Placement of an order indicates your acceptance of these Terms. Please read these Terms carefully and print a copy for future reference. If you are under 18, you may use modern-tables.com only with involvement of a parent or guardian. We reserve the right to refuse service, remove or edit content, or cancel orders.
Delivery estimates are good-faith estimates only. Modern-tables.com will not be liable for any loss, damage, cost, or expense related to any delay in shipment or delivery. We cannot ship to P.O. boxes.
Merchandise availability is estimated according to information on hand at the time the order is placed. Seller is not responsible for delays in stock replenishment, and no order may be canceled or be eligible for a refund or rebate based on late merchandise arrival. The customer assumes all risk regarding determinations of furniture quality, size, use, transportation, and fit. Customers assume full responsibility for ensuring that furniture will fit the intended space and purpose.
Seller shall not be responsible for any consequential damages incurred by the customer regardless of cause, whether a delay or mistake in delivery or the furniture itself, its quality, function, or use. Buyer agrees that Seller’s liability shall never exceed the extent of a full refund of the Total.
The "Market Price" listed on our website represents a discretionary company perception of the product's value and should not be relied upon as an accurate or prevailing market price. Please make purchase decisions based on the actual price listed.
All exchanges and cancellations are subject to seller approval. A 35% to 50% restocking fee based on the purchase price will be assessed on seller-approved returns, exchanges, or cancellations. Seller makes no warranty beyond any written description itemized in the order. Such disclaimer does not affect any manufacturer warranty. Modern-tables.com disclaims all representations provided and shall not be liable for errors in information provided. Any change to an order must be made within 24 hours after order date and in any case before delivery, subject to the terms herein.
Every shipment is insured in the unlikely event that damage occurs during transit. Please inspect your item(s) upon delivery to ensure they are correct and undamaged. If item(s) arrive damaged, print "Damaged upon Arrival" in the customer signature space and refuse delivery. After shipment is refused and damage is verified, a claim will be filed and a product replacement will be issued.
If a product is accepted and later found to be damaged, the customer is responsible for filing a claim with the carrier. For damages unnoticed at the time of delivery, please send photographs within 1 day from receipt of the package via email so we can address and correct the situation. Modern-tables.com shall have no liability for damage occurring through acts or omissions of a third-party shipper.
For curbside deliveries, the Customer is responsible to un-package and move the items off the curb. If damage has occurred during shipment of a curbside delivery, Customer must contact us immediately.
All sales are tax-free if delivered to a state other than New Jersey.
We accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Visa / Visa Electron, and Switch / Maestro. Payments must be made in full at the time of purchase. Orders will be processed once the proper funds have cleared.
By placing an order, you warrant that you are over 18 years of age and that you have the authority to place the order. You acknowledge and agree that all information provided is accurate, true, and complete.
You may log in using your email address and chosen password to view order history, print receipts, and access tracking information. You can also check the status of an order by contacting us via email.
All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we cannot supply the goods for any reason, the credit card will not be charged and all payments made will be refunded. We will not be responsible for compensating any other losses incurred if the goods are not supplied.
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error, supplier pricing error, tax or duty changes, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price, regardless of confirmation. If your credit card has already been charged and we subsequently cancel your request, we will issue a credit to your card for the charged amount (including delivery charges).
Returned items will be inspected within 3 to 7 days of receiving the merchandise to ensure it is in new condition. If you choose to return an item for convenience within 7 days of delivery (after obtaining approval from Modern-tables.com customer service and a return ticket), you will be responsible for a 30% to 50% restocking fee (deducted from the refund to your original method of payment). You will also be responsible for the cost and arrangement of return shipment to Modern-tables.com distribution center in New Jersey by choosing and scheduling your own carrier.
Damages incurred during return shipping due to insufficient packaging will not be eligible for a refund. Original shipping or delivery charges are non-refundable. Refunds generally take between 7 to 10 business days to be credited after inspection. For assistance, Customer Service is available Monday–Friday 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Time.
The actual cost of shipping a replacement item will not be credited or refunded and is subject to an additional charge. Credit issued is valid for one year from date of issue; unused credit after that period may be forfeited subject to local regulations.
You expressly understand and agree that use of this site is at your sole risk and that this site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of this site or the information, content, materials, or products included.
We reserve the right to modify or change the terms of use of this site, with or without notification, at our sole discretion.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Modern-tables.com and its officers, directors, employees, and suppliers from any claim, demand, action or damage, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made or incurred by any third party arising out of or related to your use of this site or the products herein. We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your use of this site if we have reason to believe you have violated any of these Terms & Conditions, including but not limited to providing false information.
All domestic and international orders are subject to the governing laws of the United States of America and the State of New Jersey by default, or any other local State as may be required by law.
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be contrary to law, such provision shall be of no force or effect; but the remainder of this Agreement shall continue in full force and effect.
